TO ALARM, OR NOT TO ALARM, THAT IS THE QUESTION
Many homes have monitored alarm systems, but what you get for the price, isn't very much for the introductory offer. You get maybe two doors, two windows alarmed for$99 dollars, or for free, but anything more then the price goes way up. Now I don't know about you, but I would want all my doors and windows alarmed. I took CPR for six years, in all that time I never had to use it, but two years
after I took my last class I found myself face to face with a life and death
situation. One night my neighbors 8 year old son, just walk into my apartment crying. I was just about to tell him that he has to knock before he just walks in, but before I had a chance he said my daddy dead, I ask him where he was, he told me in his apartment. To make a long story short, I or the rescue squad when they arrived could not safe him. Maybe
if there was a defibrillator available, I say maybe because there are never any guaranties. I thought about that night many times, and I came to the conclusion that I was the only one there that new CPR, and I'd do it again,
trying was better then doing nothing.

Since these cameras transmit a signal through the air to a reciver, it is possible for the signal to be intercepted by a person who as a $250 dollar device and see everything the camera or cameras see inside your home. How does this happen? well lets say you have one or more wireless cameras in you home and each camera has a 400 ft line of site signal, that means your camera can be 400 ft. from the reciver and still get the signal.
Of course in a house there are walls and the signal weakens as it travels through the walls. So lets say that the signal is down to 300ft. after it go's through the walls, but thats enough for a person to be sitting outside the home in there car to pickup the signal and see inside your home in front of your home or down the street, many wireless cameras have signals that travel much farther. I'm not saying not to buy them, I'm saying that you should know that this can happen, and to take appropriate action if you want to use them. If you want you can use wired cameras, or wireless cameras that don't have signals that travel that far. Always ask questions get all the facts.

instead of having a mind set on how not to put yourself in a situation where you may become a victim. Has I said Im not against a weapon for
personal defence, but please keep in mind it much better not to become a victim by thinking ahead and not putting yourself in a situation where you have to use it.
